The Aurora Multimedia T.R.A.C.S. is a Global System Management Server Software tool that allows monitoring of all classrooms in an entire school and/or district(s) and makes it possible for remote control, scheduling, reports and alerts. TRACS is the backbone of multi-room installations. Designed from the ground up using PHP (the most popular and powerful web language), TRACS will work with any PHP server allowing it to be run on Linux, Windows and Apple. TRACS can communicate with any number of controlled devices and has no user limit due to its topology. In addition, TRACS utilizes a SQL database for efficient and secure management of your system data.
The TRACS web-based interface can be password protected locally or via LDAP authentication. Virtually an unlimited number of accounts with different levels of restrictions can be set up. Since web pages are served through the PHP server, no special active scripts are required to work within the browser. This software is cross compatible with just about any modern browser such as Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome. It will even work with mobile devices that support web browsers. TRACS can report activity from motion detectors, door switches and panic buttons connected to the Aurora control systems. TRACS can then notify the proper authorities of an active alert, reporting room location and other necessary information in the event of an emergency.
